Privacy policy

Homecloud Drive Mirror is a personal application operated by the owner of unverged.com. This policy describes the configured application and its public information website.

Google data accessed

After the account owner authorizes access, the application uses the Google Drive API with the drive.readonly permission to read file contents and metadata, such as names, folders, sizes, and modification times. It downloads files and exports supported Google documents to maintain a local mirror.

Google handles sign-in and consent. The application stores OAuth tokens and its client credentials on the home server so it can synchronize without repeated sign-in. It does not collect the user's Google password.

Use and storage

Google data is used only to maintain the owner's local mirror and make it available through the owner's private Nextcloud installation. Files are stored on the home server, with access controlled by its operating system and Nextcloud accounts. Operational logs and the file index may contain filenames and other file metadata.

The application does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. The operator and anyone the operator authorizes to administer or access the home server may access local data.

Remote access to Nextcloud uses Cloudflare Tunnel. Cloudflare processes requests and responses, including files transferred during remote access, to provide its HTTPS proxy and connectivity services. The mirror itself is stored on the home server. Nextcloud controls user authentication and access to files.

Retention and deletion

The active local mirror is retained while the application is in use. Local files replaced or removed during synchronization are moved to a recovery area. Recovery folders older than 30 days are removed after a successful synchronization, so retention may be longer when synchronization is interrupted.

The owner can stop synchronization and delete local copies, recovery folders, indexes, logs, and retained backups. Revoking Google access stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete copies already stored locally.

Control over authorization

The owner can remove this application's access from Google Account connections. The requested permission permits reading Google Drive data, not changing or deleting it.

Public website

These information pages do not contain sign-in forms, advertising, or application analytics. Cloudflare hosts the pages and may process standard request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Contact and changes

Contact the operator using the support email displayed on the application's Google authorization screen. This policy will be updated if the application's data practices change.

Homecloud Drive Mirror's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
